ResettingAllChannels

Before doing this, please check the Technical Instructions for MEG users section.

If you do have to take this course of action, there are two main options for leaving out the "reset channels part of the data":

 1. You can uncheck "Record Raw" and "Average" (but do not press STOP) when you are about to reset the channels.
This will keep on recording without writing the data into your final RAW and AVG files.

Pros: it will prevent loosing your online average data display if you have not checked threshold rejection values.
Cons: no obvious except for potential jump in the sampling (this has to be verified)

 2. You can keep recording, and this part will be written in your RAW and AVG files.
It is recommended to get rid of the recorded reset data part prior to SSS or tSSS processing.
When opening MaxFilter you can specify periods of recordings that should be neglected.

(add MaxFilter or MaxST cmd lines / gui shots / snapshots)
